Mehndi

Welcome to Venue Sandal Tree Banquet Hall in Ghaziabad!

Mehndi, also known as henna, is a form of temporary body art that involves the application of a paste made from the powdered leaves of the henna plant. It is traditionally used in various cultures, particularly in South Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa, for festive occasions and celebrations such as weddings, religious festivals, and other joyous events.

Mehndi designs are created by skilled artists who use a cone or a small applicator to apply the henna paste on the skin in intricate patterns. The paste is left to dry on the skin, and as it dries, it leaves behind a reddish-brown stain. After several hours, the dried paste is gently scraped off, revealing the intricate design on the skin. The stain gradually darkens over the next 24 to 48 hours and can last up to a couple of weeks, depending on various factors like the quality of henna, individual body chemistry, and the care taken to maintain the design.
